William Norris Cole

William Norris Cole (85) passed away Monday, October 27, 2025 at his home in Wheeler. He served in the National Guard and was a member of East Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. Throughout his life he was a welder, mechanic, carpenter and electrician. He always enjoyed helping others. He also enjoyed watching wrestling, talking on the phone, raising rabbits, going to church, fishing and being outdoors. His biggest passion was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Services are 1 pm Friday, October 31, 2025 in the Baldwyn Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home with Bro. Anthony Copeland officiating. Burial will follow in the Prentiss Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 11-1 Friday in the Baldwyn Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home.

Norris is survived by his son, Vincent Charles Cole; his daughter, Dianna Cole; his brother, Mike Cole (Linda); his sister, Judy Carol Winters; his grandchildren, William Cole (Hannah), Billy Johnson, Grayson Johnson, Timmy Cole (Michelle), Jason Cole, Brandon Cole, Casey Cole and Tori Cole and his great granddaughter, Josie Mae Cole & a host of great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James William & Janie Mae Gentry Cole; his wife, Mary Inez Cole; his son, Curtis Cole; his sister, Evelyn Busby and his brothers, Floyd, Jimmy & Blaine Cole.
