Virginia (Maness) Mooney

Virginia Maness Mooney (82) passed away Saturday, May 28, 2022 at Diversicare in Ripley. She enjoyed flowers, gardening and bluegrass music. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She came from a large family and loved them all dearly.

Services are 1 pm Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at the Booneville Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home with Bro. Marty Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in the Mormon Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 1, 2022 from 11 am to 1 pm at the funeral home.

Virginia is survived by her sons, Michael Mooney of Booneville and Ricky Mooney of Oklahoma; her daughter, Pamela Power of Oklahoma; her brothers, Roy Maness of Tucson AZ and Raymond Hughley, Jr. (Lisa) of Booneville; her sister, Judy Wolfe of Dry Creek; her grandchildren, John Mooney of Oklahoma City, Tara Randoll (Jimmy) of Oklahoma City, Niki Tucker (Chris) of Phoenix, AZ, Amanda Power and Hoktee Power of Oklahoma; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David Mooney; her son, Jeffery Scott Mooney; her parents, E.T. and Lois Maness; six brothers and five sisters.

Pallbearers are Ronald Yates, Bobby Cole, Jim Mooney, Gerald Mooney, Seth Tucker and Chris Tucker.

Honorary pallbearers are her great-grandchildren.
