Troy DeVaughn Obituary

Troy Wayne DeVaughn (78) passed away April 23, 2020 at his home in Booneville. He is the son of Clifton McDuffey and Clara Ruth DeVaughn of Baldwyn. Troy graduated from Baldwyn High School where he excelled, especially in basketball. Troy was an Army Veteran and then worked as a mechanic for forty years until later retiring in 2006. He loved hunting and fishing, but most of all, he loved spending time with his family.

A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held at a later date due to the current social restrictions.

Troy is survived by his beloved wife, Wanda DeVaughn of Booneville; his children, Mitch DeVaughn (Vicky) of Booneville; Mike DeVaughn of Rienzi, Mitzi Cook (Tom) of Booneville and Matthew DeVaughn (Melissa) of Tampa, FL; his brother, Mickey Devaughn of Booneville; his sisters,Reta Palmer and Corlis Taylor; 14 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Troy is preceded in death by his parents, Clifton and Ruth Clara DeVaughn and two sisters, Earline Samples and Dorothy Samples.
