Tommy Stephens (75) passed away Friday, March 6, 2026 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He enjoyed fishing, going to the races, gardening, working on his tractors and lawn mowers and running hunting dogs. Tommy spent many years cooking steaks at restaurants, doing mechanic work, being a fire fighter for a number of years and working in a furniture factory.
Services are 2 pm Monday, March 9, 2026 in the Baldwyn Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home with Bro. Elbert Ray Bennett and Bro. Henry Kennedy officiating. Burial will follow in the Rutland Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Sunday, March 8, 2026 in the Baldwyn Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home.
Tommy is survived by his daughter, Shelia Holloway (Paul) of Marietta; his grandson, Josh Aldridge (Ashley) of Baldwyn; his "sons", Cory Boxx of Baldwyn and Cody Boxx (Emily) of Baldwyn; his brother, Mike Stephens (Sarah) of Marietta; his great grandchildren, Elizabeth and Easton; the mother of his daughter, Judy Stephens and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Grover & Lee Stephens; his brothers, Kenneth, Danny, Stanley, Randy and Jerry Stephens; his sisters, Yvonne Stephens, Kernith Vandevander and Peggy Hoard and his nephew, Larry Stephens.
Pallbearers are Josh Aldridge, Jacob Stephens, Ryker Stephens, Josh Aldridge, Kenny Wayne Aldridge, Kenneth Thrasher, Cory Boxx and Cody Boxx.
