Tommy Gwen (Lauderdale) McKinney

Tommy Gwen (Lauderdale) McKinney (82) passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo. She was a member of NAMI (National Alliance for Mentally Ill) and the ASPCA. She enjoyed gardening, reading and CB radios with her handle of "Rusty Bucket". She was a fine cook and seamstress. She was a great mom, grandmother, dog mom and sister.

Services are 12 pm Friday, March 14, 2025 at the Booneville Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home with Bro. David Harper officiating. Burial will follow in Crossroads Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Thursday, March 13, 2025 at the Booneville Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home.

Tommy is survived by her daughters, Allison Mull (Steve) of Long Beach, MS and McKenna Shewmake of Blue Ridge, GA; her sister, Debbie Stolz (Michael) of Booneville; her grandchildren, Logan Shewmake of Blue Ridge, GA and Wren Shewmake (Maddy Bailey) of Gainesville, GA; her nephews, Tim Stolz (Penny) of Booneville and Albert Stolz (Amy) of Corinth; and her great-nephew, Aaron Stolz (Ashley) of Booneville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sidney and Lila Lauderdale; her husband, Donald McKinney; her brother, Sidney Clyde Lauderdale; and her sister, Terry Joyce Lauderdale.
