Teddy "Ted" Windham (74) passed away Saturday, April 5, 2025 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Booneville. He was a honorary member of the VFW and the American Legion. He worked 20+ years at Devine Construction and then retired from City of Booneville Gas & Water. He enjoyed mowing his yard, grilling for his family and friends, watching Gunsmoke, watching storms, telling stories and spending time with his family.
Services are 3 pm Friday, April 11, 2025 in the Booneville Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home with Bro. David Pannell officiating. Burial will follow in the Booneville Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Thursday, April 10, 2025 in the Booneville Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home.
Teddy is survived by his wife of 52 years, Sharon Windham; his sons, Kirk Windham (Haley) of Thrasher and David Windham (Christina) of Thrasher; his daughters, Tonyia Strickland (Billy) of Hinkle and Daneita Hayes (Terry) of Ramer, TN; his grandchildren, Clay South (Matt), Kyle South (Sydney), Kayla Camiolo (Daniel), Cory Lee Windham Edge, Briar Windham (Josie), Brison Windham, Kaylee Dixon, Jaida Windham, Presley Lambert, Hanna Hastings (Walter) and Kaley Lowrey; his great grandchildren, Raylea, Gavin, Peyton, Aven, Braxton, Ella, Kenslie, Annastin, Huxley, Bryleigh and Addison; special family friends, Patricia Lambert, Brandon Jenkins and Minnie Rorie and a host of other friends and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Windham; his grandparents, Asberry & Ethel Windham and his in-laws, Malcolm & Geraldine Sweeney.
His grandchildren will serve as his pallbearers.
Honorary pallbearers will be Kenneth Fleming, Bobby Davidson, Jr., Wayne Hall, Billy Windham, Dale Cole and James Ray Plaxico.
