Talmadge "Buddy" Bullard (77) passed away Monday, March 30, 2026 at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo. He was married to his wife, Martha Bullard, for 55 years. He attended Martin Hill Freewill Baptist Church. He was a Vietnam veteran of the U.S. Army, where he was awarded a Purple Heart. He retired from FMC after 35 years. He enjoyed gardening, spending time with his grandchildren, bird hunting and being a fan of the Boston Celtics. He loved and served the Lord as a deacon, Sunday school teacher and youth leader. He also enjoyed music and singing.
Memorial services are 4 pm Thursday, April 2, 2026 at the Baldwyn Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home with Bro. David Harper and Tommy Watts officiating. Visitation will be 3-4 pm Thursday, April 2, 2026 at the Baldwyn Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home.
Talmadge is survived by his wife of 55 years, Martha Bullard of Booneville; his daughter, Aleshia Watts (Tommy) of Booneville; his son, Mark Bullard of Booneville; and his grandchildren, TJ and Nathan Watts.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Lela Bullard; his brothers, Harold Bullard and Bill Bullard; and his sisters, Joyce Brady and Brenda Hopkins.
