Susan Elizabeth (Goodin) Vana

Susan Elizabeth Goodin Vana (54) of Corinth, MS, born August 30, 1969, sadly left us on December 28, 2023 at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth after a long battle with Parkinson's disease. Susan was loved by all who were blessed to know her. She loved the Lord and was a member of Greater Faith Fellowship of Rienzi, MS. She was a 1987 graduate of Belmont High School and attended Bevill State Community College. She worked many years as the secretary for the nursing program at Bevill State Community College of Hamilton, AL. She had been a babysitter, loved by many children over the years. She will be greatly missed.

A celebration of life service will be at 3 pm Saturday, January 6, 2024, at Greater Faith Fellowship Church in Rienzi with Bro. Scott Bridges and Brent Colley officiating. Visitation will be 2-3 pm Saturday, January 6, 2023 at Greater Faith Fellowship Church. Her final resting place will be alongside her infant son at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Golden, MS.

Susan is survived by her sister, Lisa Goodin; her nieces, Kristian Johnson and Tasha Goodin; her great-nieces, Kera Johnson, Hannah Teeter and Paislee Burney; her great-nephews, Levi Johnson and Dakota Vinson; her great-great-niece, Delilah Monroe Gordon; her fiance, Keith Channell and his grandsons, Cooper and Tucker Allen, Coleman Head and Weston Channell; and her very special best friends, Jennifer Fair (Donald, Hayley) and Rachel Yielding.

She was preceded in death by her infant son, Hunter Lee Boyd; her husband, Larry Vana; her mother, Betty Maxwell; and her grandparents, Vester (Snowball) and Katie Credille.
