Stanley Eric Stein

Stanley Eric Stein (62) left his Earthly home Friday, May 31, 2024 at North Mississippi Medical Center after a short illness. He was born May 8, 1962 in Iowa to the late Stanley and Judy Stein. He married the love of his life, Cheryl Lynn Stein, on July 10, 1981 and they shared 42 wonderful years together.

Eric was a member of Auburn Baptist Church. His biggest passions were MSU Athletics, NASCAR and attending marching band events. He was a handyman and loved working with his hands. God was number one in his life, followed by his family which he cherished dearly.

Services are 10 am Tuesday, June 4, 2024 in the Baldwyn Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home with his son, Brandon Stein officiating. Graveside services will follow in the McNeil Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Monday, June 3, 2024 in the Baldwyn Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home.

Eric is survived by his sons, Brandon Stein (Traci) of Zachary, LA, Jordan Stein of Starkville and Jacob Stein of Starkville; his brother, Blake Stein (Pam) of Tupelo; his sisters, Tonya Collums (Dewayne) of Tupelo and Lisa Lawson (Greg) of Tupelo; his grandchildren, Cailin & Luke Stein of Zachary, LA; his brother-in-law, Richard Hill (Sherry) of Saltillo; his uncle, Jim Reynolds of Iowa; his aunt, Marge Jones (Earl) of Iowa and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Cheryl Lynn Stein; his in-laws, Wayne & Alene Hill; his sister-in-law, Rhonda Hill and his nephew, Chris Edwards.

Pallbearers are Brandon Stein, Jordan Stein, Jacob Stein, Blake Stein, Richard Hill and Dewayne Collums.

Honorary pallbearers are his nephews and Luke Stein.
