Sherry Ann Pannell

Sherry Ann Pannell (64), born on December 2, 1961, passed away peacefully on July 7, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and compassion that will forever be cherished by those who knew her.

Sherry was preceded in death by her estranged husband, Gary Lee Pannell, who passed away on December 5, 2013, as well as her parents, Vivian Louise Davis and John Frank Davis.

She is lovingly remembered by her significant other, Nick Stoop; her children, Candi, Brandon, Christy, Kaylee, and Danny; her stepchildren, Genna (Tristyn), Toni, and Sam; along with many extended family members, dear friends, and countless others whose lives she touched.

Sherry found her greatest happiness in tending her garden and spending time in the kitchen, where she lovingly prepared meals that brought family and friends together. She had a caring, loving, and compassionate heart and never hesitated to help those in need. She welcomed every child with open arms, caring for them as though they were here own. Her home was a place of comfort, loved, and acceptance, and her nurturing spirit left an unforgettable mark on everyone she met.

More than anything , Sherry will be remembered for the loved she gave so freely. Her warmth, generosity, and unwavering devotion to her family and friends defined her life. While her passing leaves an immeasurable void, her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved her and in the many lives she touched through her kindness.

Her family will forever cherish the memories they shared and find comfort in knowing that her legacy of love and compassion will endure for generations to come.

Services are 2 pm Friday, July 10, 2026 in the Booneville Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home with Bro. Tracy Arnold officiating. Burial will follow in the Gaston Cemetery. Visitation will be 12-2 Friday in the Booneville Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Gregory Pannell, Shelby Box, Bruce Pannell, Landon Elliott, Levi Elliott and Sam Stoop.

Honorary pallbearer will be Bubba Malone.
