Sammie Sue Weatherbee

Sammie Sue Weatherbee (83) passed away Sunday, April 27, 2025 at Longwood Nursing Home. She was a member of Thrasher Baptist Church.

Services are Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at 3 pm at Thrasher Baptist Church with Bro. Josh Sparks and Chuck Kennedy officiating. Burial will follow in the Sardis Cemetery. Visitation will be 1-3 pm Wednesday at Thrasher Baptist Church.

Sammie is survived by her sons, Todd Weatherbee (Tracie) of Rienzi and Ty Weatherbee (Darla) of Rienzi; her grandchildren, Blake Weatherbee (Madison), Landon Weatherbee (Jalan), Shawn-Dalton Weatherbee (Saige), Gatlin Weatherbee, Abby Weatherbee and Dawson Weatherbee; her great grandchildren, Demi Blake Weatherbee, Davis Claire Weatherbee and Sawyer Sue Weatherbee; her sisters-in-law, Mollie Potts of Hinkle, Joyce Weatherbee of Rienzi, Ginner Cummings (Roy) of Booneville and Annette Richardson of Rienzi and her brother-in-law, David Huddleston of Booneville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donnie Ray Weatherbee; her son, John Samuel Weatherbee and her parents, Sam & Claire Jones.

Her grandchildren will serve as her pallbearers.
