Sadie Estell Russell

Sadie Estell Russell (72) passed away Sunday, June 14, 2026 at North Mississippi Medical Center Hospice Unit in Tupelo. She was a member of Emmanuel Pentecostal Church, where she taught Sunday School for many years. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Services are 11 am Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at Emmanuel Pentecostal Church with Rev. Roy Joshlin and Danny Stites officiating. Burial will follow in Jones Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Monday, June 15, 2026 at Emmanuel Pentecostal Church.

Sadie is survived by her husband, Bobby Russell of Booneville; her daughter, Christy Joshlin (Oscar, Jr.) of Booneville; her son, Jason Russell (Nicole) of Booneville; her grandchildren, Amy Ellis (Dylan) of Kossuth, Jonathan Joshlin of Booneville, Kason Russell of Booneville, Breanna Russell of Booneville, Madelyn Russell of Booneville and CJ Russell of Booneville; and her great-grandson, Leland Ellis of Kossuth.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elton and Inez Jones; and her brother, Harold Jones.

Pallbearers will be Jonathan Joshlin, Kason Russell, Dylan Ellis, Kirk Russell, Gregory Russell and Lance Hopkins.

Honorary pallbearer will be, CJ Russell.
