Roy Allen Joshlin, Jr.

Roy Allen Joshlin, Jr. (57) passed away Thursday, June 25, 2026. He attended Emmanuel Pentecostal Church. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, doing upholstery work, and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was an avid musician and loved playing the guitar. He also enjoyed sitting on the front porch with his dad drinking coffee.

Services are 2 pm Thursday, July 2, 2026 at Emmanuel Pentecostal Church with Bro. Matthew Joshlin and Bro. Jason Russell officiating. Burial will be in the Jumpertown Cemetery. Visitation will be 1-2 pm Thursday at the church.

Roy is survived by his sons, Roy Allen "Trey" Joshlin III, Jacob Wesley Joshlin, Zachary Haden Joshlin and Jessie Allen Joshlin; his daughter, Allyson Rachel Joshlin; his father, Roy Joshlin, Sr. (Camie); his brothers, Matthew Joshlin, Jackie Ray Joshlin and Timothy Cornelius; his sisters, Miriam Joshlin and Latrisha Godsey (Scott) and his aunt, Elizabeth Mcabee.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Anita Rae Joshlin and his grandparents, Raymond & Irene Reed and Guy & Mildred Joshlin.

His sons will serve as his pallbearers and Oscar Joshlin will be his honorary pallbearer.
