Roy J. Wren

Roy J. Wren (80) passed away Saturday, July 25, 2020 at his home in Mooreville. He was a faithful member of Grace Memorial Baptist Church in Skyline. He enjoyed gardening, building, helping others, his dog, Bella and being with his family and friends. He also loved his pastor and spending time with the men of the church. He thoroughly loved the Lord.

Services will be 2 pm Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at Grace Memorial Baptist Gymnasium with Bro. David Box and Bro. Kerry Nelson officiating. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Monday at the church gym. Burial will be in the Auburn Cemetery.

Roy is survived by his wife of 55 years, Sally Wren of Mooreville; his son, Ronnie Wren (Mary) of Cottondale, AL; his daughter, Sherry Wade (Brewer) of Tupelo; his brother, Gwendol Wren (Elaine) of Booneville; his sisters, Sue Wren of CA and Zannie Wilemon of Tupelo; 3 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, J.W. and Ester Wren; his brothers, James Leland, Cullen, Gerald and Amos Wren and his sisters, Syble Wren, Norma Jean Glissen and Mattie Drake.

Pallbearers are the men of Grace Memorial Baptist Church.
