Rosa Lee Denson (76) passed away Monday, May 11, 2026 at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth. She was a member of Martin Hill Freewill Baptist Church. She loved her family, as she was Mama Rose to many. She also loved her cookbooks, but most of all she loved the Lord first.
Services are 1 pm Thursday, May 14, 2026 at Martin Hill Freewill Baptist Church with Bro. Rick Bowling, Bro. Luke Chittom, Bro. David Harper, Bro. Matthew Pharr and Bro. Jack Whitley officiating. Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at Martin Hill Freewill Baptist Church.
Rosa is survived by her husband of 41 years, Mackie Denson of Booneville; her son, Roger Spencer of Booneville; her daughters, Debra Wade (Dennis) of Booneville and Carla Denson (Jayson Calton) of Booneville; one sister; her grandchildren, Allison Perrigo (Dakota) of Booneville, Caitlyn King of Booneville, Jacob Spencer (Jamie) of Saltillo, Blake Spencer (Carmen) of Tupelo, Trae Perrigo (Sissy) of Booneville, Bronson Perrigo of Booneville and Lauren Danovski (Brian) of Tupelo; her great grandchildren, Molly and Jack Spencer, and two other great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, and many dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Buster and Lelar Reynolds; her daughter, Jennifer Denson; her son, Michael Denson; and her brother, Leroy Reynolds.
Pallbearers will be Jacob Spencer, Blake Spencer, Trae Perrigo, Bronson Perrigo, Dakota Perrigo and Jayson Calton.
Honorary pallbearers are Allison Perrigo and Caitlyn King.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation to be made to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tn in honor of Katie Allison Perrigo, or to Eldridge Children's Home in Eldridge, AL.
