Rodney "Buck" Alexander Bishop

Rodney "Buck" Alexander Bishop (44) passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He was a member of Independent Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting and spending time with his family.

Services are 1 pm Thursday, June 1, 2023 in the Baldwyn Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home with Bro. Toby Mears and Bro. Ray Guin officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 11-1 Thursday in the Baldwyn Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home.

Rodney is survived by his wife, Heather Pettigo Bishop; his son, Braylon Riddle; his step-sons, Drew and Logan Pettigo; his parents, Charlie and Brenda Bishop; his sisters, Pam Posey, Michelle Coltharp (Ed) and Tonya Tindoll (Eric) and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Carolyn Bishop and his grandparents, Cecil & Alma Bishop and John Jr. & Vesta Mae Baxter.

Pallbearers are Zack McCoy, PJ Sawyer, Timothy Sawyer, Dewayne Bishop, Aaron Baxter and Josh Bishop.
