Rita Lynn Martin

Rita Lynn Martin (60) passed away Saturday, October 9, 2021. She was a member of Prospect Church. She enjoyed riding horses and spending time with her friends and grandchildren.

Services are 3 pm Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at Prospect Church (15 CR 5211 Booneville, MS 38829) with Bro. Johnny Hamblin officiating. Visitation will be 1-3 Wednesday at the church. Burial will follow in the Prospect Cemetery.

Rita is survived by her sons, Jeffery Scott Kelly of Shannon and Richard Anthony Lloyd of Verona; her brothers, Kenneth Martin of Wilton Manors, FL, Michael Martin of Mooreville, Billy Wayne Brasel of Wheeler, Perry Brasel of Saltillo and John Brasel of Baldwyn; her grandchildren, Montanna Byars of Verona, Austin Lloyd of Shannon and Harper Lynn Kelly of Nettleton and 5 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Daisy Cupp Brasel; her father, James Alvin Martin and her step-father, Billy Brasel.
