Rick "Julius" Eason Smithey, Jr.

Rick "Julius" Smithey, Jr. (69) passed away Monday, January 12, 2026 at Mississippi Care Center in Corinth. Rick was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was a member of Steel Cowboys motorcycle club. He enjoyed playing guitar, riding his motorcycle, helping veterans and he was the handyman for the entire family.

Rick is survived by his sisters, Jean Roberson of Booneville, Pam Mason of Searcy, AR, Dannette Flowers of Mountain Home, AR and Linda Mowery of Kansas City, MO; his special friend (like a brother), T-Roy "Troy" Morton; and a host nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great nieces and great-great nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Julius and Stella Smithey; his sisters, Brenda Kizer and Judy Roberson; five nephews and two nieces.
