Richard Donald "Don" Green

Don Green (67) passed away Thursday, November 19, 2020 at his home in the Snowdown Community. He was the Pastor at Snowdown Church of Christ and was also a bus driver for Tishomingo County. He enjoyed preaching, Bible Study, any kind of music, anything related to the Church, fishing, gardening, working in the yard, cooking and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He loved to talk to anyone who would listen and he never met a stranger.

Services are 2 pm Saturday, November 21, 2020 at Booneville Church of Christ with Ministers Tony Brown, Jason Pilcher and Alex Wesson officiating. Visitation will be 5-9 pm Friday, November 20, 2020 at Booneville Church of Christ. Graveside services will follow immediately after the funeral service at Snowdown Church of Christ Cemetery with Mike Floyd officiating.

Don is survived by his wife of 42 years, Betty Wright Green of Snowdown; his daughters, Kimberly Lambert of Snowdown and Kristin Wesson (Alex) of Booneville; his brothers, Mike Green (Tina) of Tupelo and Eddie Green (Ellen) of Iuka; his mother-in-law, Lowenstein Wright Graves; his sister-in-law, Thena Wright; his grandchildren, Robert Buran II (Madison), Kyleigh Lambert, Garrett Wesson and Caden Wesson and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Zetta Green; his fathers-in-law, Horace Wright and Harold Graves; his sisters, Janet Kelton and Sue Brimingham; his brothers-in-law, Horace, Johnny & Gary Wright, Johnny McDougal, Gene Brimingham and Bill Kelton; his nephews, Yancey Davis and Timmy Brimingham; his niece, Wanda Dale Nanney and his great-nephew, John Andy Nanney.

The men of Snowdown Church of Christ will serve as pallbearers.
