Obituary
Rhonda Kay Palmer (67) passed away Thursday, May 4, 2023 at her home in Rienzi. She was a member of Pisgah Methodist Church. She enjoyed cooking, going to the beach, having family gatherings and spending time with her grandchildren.
Services are 2 pm Sunday, May 7, 2023 in the Baldwyn Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home with Bro. Ricky Murphy and Bro. Brandon Palmer officiating. Burial will follow in the Pisgah Methodist Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Saturday, May 6, 2023 in the Baldwyn Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home.
Rhonda is survived by her husband of 48 years, Joe Palmer of Rienzi; her daughters, Crystal Lawson (Walter) of Dry Creek and Becky Harling of Rienzi; her mother, Frances Brasfield of Rienzi; her brother, Douglas Knight (Bella) of AZ; her sisters, Virginia Davis (Jabo) of Rienzi, Pat Gahagan (David) of Rienzi and Wanda Austin (Charlie) of Corinth; her sister-in-law, Penny Knight; her daughter-in-law, Shannon Palmer; her grandchildren, Taylor Thorne (Chandler), Siera Aldridge (Hunter), Blake Lawson, Allie Dodds (Keagan), Bryce Palmer, Kiley Lawson, Emmaleigh Palmer, Kayston Lawson and Ella Palmer and 5 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, William Bradley Palmer and her brothers, Ray Knight and Gary Brasfield.
Pallbearers are Jason Knight, John Goldman, Scotty Knight, Joby Murphy, Jimmy Humpal, Wesley Jacobs, Nathan Palmer, Jamie Goldman and Timmy Knight.
Honorary pallbearers are Chris Jacobs and Wesley Thrasher.
