Regina Ann Blaylock Obituary

Regina Ann Blaylock, 78, of Guntown, Mississippi, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on June 28, 2026, after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's disease. Her family finds comfort in knowing she is now completely restored, at peace, and forever in the presence of Jesus.

Regina dedicated 20 years of her life to the children of Lee County Schools, where she faithfully served as an assistant teacher. She made lasting friendships with her coworkers and touched the hearts of her many students over the years.

She found joy in cooking and baking, but more than anything, she loved shopping, enjoyed beautiful jewelry, and never missed a good deal or a sale rack.

After retiring, she enjoyed traveling with the love of her life, George. Together they spent decades exploring God's beautiful creation and making memories across the country. She was always looking forward to their next adventure.

Regina was a faithful member of Faith Baptist Church in Saltillo, where her faith and love for the Lord guided the way she lived each day.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Delbert Brock and Dorothy Ann Brock.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 60 years, George Allen Blaylock; her son, Mark Allen Blaylock (Debbie); her daughter, Ann-Marie Wyatt (Dustin); her beloved grandchildren, Joshua Blaylock, John Brady Wyatt, McCarley Wyatt, and Mari Harper Wyatt; her precious great-granddaughter, Novalee Blaylock; her sister, Janie Brock Underwood and her brother, James Delbert Brock, Jr.

While her family mourns her absence, they rejoice in the promise of eternal life and in knowing that she has been made whole again. Her love, kindness, and legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 1 from 11-1 pm with service to follow at 1:00 pm, Faith Baptist Church, Saltillo, Mississippi with Dr. Phil Ellis officiating. Burial will follow in the Campbelltown Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that you make donations to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America or the charity of your choice.

“For now we see through a glass darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.” 1 Corinthians 3:12
