Paul Carter

Paul Carter (64) passed away Saturday, April 6, 2024 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He was an active member of the American Legion Post #130 where he served as the cook for several years. He was also a member of the Blackland Volunteer Fire Department. He enjoyed cooking, watching NASCAR and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Memorial services will be 4 pm Saturday, April 13, 2024 at the American Legion Post #130 in Baldwyn. Visitation will be 2-4 pm Saturday.

Paul is survived by his sons, Kyle Carter (Edie) of Henderson, TN, Devin Carter of Blackland and Drew Carter (Christy) of Blackland; his brothers, Mike Carter (Cheryl) of Marietta, Larry Dunlap (Rhonda) of Glen and Martin Valente of New Jersey; his sisters, Donna Carter Reese of Hills Chapel and Judy Dunlap; his beloved grandchildren, Annalynn, Elijah, Mason, Kelsee and Eli Carter and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Lilian Carter; his wife, Cindy Carter and his brothers, John and Gary Carter.
