Patricia "Jan" Porterfield

Patricia "Jan" Porterfield (76) passed away Thursday, January 18, 2024 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Iuka. She was a member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Iuka. She done sheetrock work with her husband, Dutch and later worked at Kid Kountry Daycare with Mitzi. She enjoyed doing crafts, crocheting, reading, shopping and her biggest passion was painting.

Services are 12 pm Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at Rowland Mills Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Scott Webber and Bro. Aaron Parrish officiating. Burial will follow in the Rowland Mills Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Monday, January 22, 2024 at Rowland Mills Church.

Jan is survived by her sisters-in-law, Mitzi Potts and Betty Wilbanks (Fred); her nephew, Kayson Hill and her nieces, Fredia Booker and Michelle Hodges.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dutch Porterfield; her parents, JC & Louise Potts; her brothers, Danny & Ronnie Potts and her grandparents, Lucian & Verna Stidham and Jeff & Deena Potts.

Pallbearers are Chad Booker, Zack Bray, Wayne Bain, Randy Hill, Gary Keenum, Richie Wilmeth, Kayson Hill and Roy Walls.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Yellow Creek Youth Camp or Bethel MB Church.
