Opal Champion Grisham (88) passed away Sunday, February 1, 2026 at the Tippah County Nursing Home. She was a member of Prospect Independent Baptist Church. She enjoyed fishing, playing cards and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Services are 11 am Tuesday, February 3, 2026 in the Baldwyn Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home with Bro. Bud Wheatley and Bro. Jack Bennett officiating. Burial will follow in the Ingomar Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Monday, February 2, 2026 in the Baldwyn Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home.
Opal is survived by her daughters, Cathy Wheatley (Bud) of Wheeler and Joyce Bryant (Frank) of Ripley; her son, Keith Grisham of Fulton; 12 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Grisham; her parents, Jack & Vera Champion; her grandson, Matt Hogue; 10 brothers and 4 sisters.
