Nathan Michael Cox

Nathan Michael Cox (27) passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at his home from a rare neurological disorder called Rasmussen Encephalitis. He was born on December 10, 1997. He was a huge sports fan. He loved rooting on everything Ole Miss Rebels & Chicago Cubs. He was a member of West Booneville Church of Christ and the Booneville Blue Devil Band drum line from 2010-2016 and drum line captain his senior year.

Services are 2 pm Saturday, March 22, 2025 at Thrasher Baptist Church with Bro. Brian Meade officiating. Burial will follow in the Carters Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Friday, March 21, 2025 at Thrasher Baptist Church.

Nathan is survived by his mother, Wendy Cox (Chris Patten); his father, Shawn Cox (Michelle); his brother, Nicholas Cox; his sister, Melana Mills; his grandparents, Cathy Trimble, Jerry Trimble, Charlene Fleming and James Miles; his great grandmother, Evelyn Trimble and his uncles and aunts, Wesley Trimble (Kristin), Bart Trimble (Keely), Jeremy Miles (Nicole), Michelle Miles and Jimmy Miles.

He was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Jimmy & Marie King Parker, Karey Trimble, Milburn West and Louella Bagley.

Pallbearers are Cameron Kelton, Roy Moreland, Brylee Hammock, Caleb Isbell, Dakota Rice and Daniel Boren.

Honorary pallbearers are Tyson Trimble, Ryder Hammock, Noah Trimble, Cal Trimble, Michael Wright and members of the Booneville Blue Devil Band from 2010-2016.
