Melissa Pressley Parker

Melissa Pressley Parker (65) passed away Friday, December 22, 2023 at the Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo. She was a member of Euclatubba Baptist Church. She retired from IMA after 25 years of service. She enjoyed watching any Tennessee athletic event, cooking, making Christmas candy and spending time with her family and friends.

Services are 3 pm Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at Euclatubba Baptist Church with Bro. Scott Witcher and Bro. Chuck Hampton officiating. Burial will follow in the Euclatubba Cemetery. Visitation will be 1-3 pm Wednesday at Euclatubba Baptist Church.

Melissa is survived by her husband of 43 years, Travis Parker; her special dog she called "Baby Love", Chloe; her sister-in-law, Sandy Pressley; her nephews & nieces, Brad Pressley, Blake Pressley, Jordan Kearns, Johnna Wilson, Bobby Parker and Brian Parker and her special friends, Lois Davis, Deb Hampton, Patti Timbes Virginia Farmer and Merry Stanford.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert "Pap" & Faye Pressley; her daughter, Casey Parker; her sister, Martha Bridges; her brother, Robert "Bob" Pressley; her niece, Christy Green Kearns; her in-laws, Keith & Lena Parker and her brother-in-law, Tommy Parker.

Pallbearers are Brad Pressley, Blake Pressley, Bill Pressley, James Davis, Kenny Stanford, Glen Posey, Andy Owens, Jordan Kearns and Ronnie Timbes.

Honorary pallbearers are the IMA staff.
