Mavis C. Harrison McClellan (84) passed away Thursday, July 18, 2024 at Mississippi Care Center in Corinth. She was a member of New Life Church of Jesus Christ. She enjoyed singing, being outdoors, fishing, boating, tending to her flowers, cooking and spending time with her family.
Services are 1 pm Monday, July 22, 2024 in the Booneville Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home with Bro. Melvin Harrison and Bro. Nathan Harrison officiating. Burial will follow in the Liberty Cemetery. Visitation will be 11-1 Monday in the Booneville Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home.
Mavis is survived by her son, Steven McClellan of Glen; her daughter, Sharon Decker of Booneville; her brothers, Melvin Harrison (Naomi) of Booneville, Sammy Harrison (Sherry) of Booneville, Eugene Harrison (Tammy) of Grenada, Nathan Harrison (Denise) of Booneville and Gary Harrison (Diane) of Booneville; her sisters, Alice Southern of Booneville and Candy Moore (Billy) of Booneville; her grandchildren, Jeffrey Windham (Kellie) of Booneville, Michael McClellan (Jennifer) of Kossuth and Steven D. McClellan (Chasity) of Glen and a host of great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, JE McClellan; her parents, GW & Hazel Harrison and her sisters, Lisa Woodruff and Grace Evelyn Gurley.
Pallbearers are Jeffrey Windham, Michael McClellan, Steven D. McClellan, Anthony Harrison, Ethan Windham and Matthew Windham.
