Matthew Wayne Hogue

Matthew Wayne Hogue (43) passed away Thursday, April, 24, 2025 at his home in Wheeler. He was a member of Prospect Independent Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, being with family and playing dominoes.

Services are 11 am Saturday, April 26, 2025 at the Baldwyn Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home with Bro. Johnny Hamblin officiating. Burial will follow in Prospect Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Friday, April 25, 2025 at the Baldwyn Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home.

 Matthew is survived by his sons, Hunter Hogue of Wheeler, Ethan Hogue (Jaden) of Burnsville and Cason Hogue of Denver, CO; his parents, Bud and Cathy Wheatley of Wheeler; his brother, Jason Grisham (Dena) of Falkner; his grandmothers, Opal Grisham of Ripley and Betty Wheatley of Wheeler; his grandson, Ryker Hogue; and his special friends Jeremy Kennedy and Chris Jackson.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Hogue; and his grandfathers, Robert Wheatley and Paul Grisham.

 Pallbearers are Carter Swinney, David Wheatley, Cannon Wheatley, Chris Jackson, Gavin McPeak and Isaac Stevens.
