Martha Ann DeVaughn Obituary

Martha Ann DeVaughn passed away Friday, November 17, 2023 at her home in Baldwyn with her loving husband and daughter by her side. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Baldwyn. She was a people person, always enjoying cooking and entertaining others. She was a skilled beautician and always enjoyed seeing her loyal customers. She loved to paint, crochet and anything involving craft work. She enjoyed taking care of her animals, especially her cats. She also loved to celebrate her favorite holiday, Christmas. She was loved by many and will be missed immensely.

Services are 11 am Monday, November 20, 2023 in the Baldwyn Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Robbins and Bro. Bill Adams officiating. Burial will follow in the Pratts Community Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Sunday, November 19, 2023 in the Baldwyn Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home.

Martha is survived by her devoted husband of 35 years, Billy Joe DeVaughn of Baldwyn; her loving daughter, DeeDee Pruitt (Ronnie) of Marietta; her step-children, Randy DeVaughn of Guntown, Kim Grissom (Hal) of Baldwyn and Phyliss Green (Tim) of Saltillo and her nephews, Don Ratliff (Kathy) of Belmont, Steve Ratliff (Kathy) of Belmont and Ken Ratliff (Caroline) of Birmingham.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Abbie & Voudie Garrett; her sister, Jean Ratliff and her brother-in-law, Leon Ratliff.

Pallbearers are Mark Tapp, Ricky Tapp, Brett Waters, Lee Ratliff, Chris Ratliff, Clay Kesler, Sam Kesler and Logan Kesler.
