Obituary
Malakai "Bleu" Johnston (7 months) passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at his home in Baldwyn. He was a joyful, happy and healthy baby boy with big blue eyes and a smile that covered his whole face. He loved to eat his veggies, standing up, being held where he could see everything around him and spending time with his parents and his older brother whom he had grown really close to. He had become a very vocal baby and he loved his mornings spent with his dad. He had an "old soul" for a young child.
Memorial services are 12 pm Tuesday, May 23, 2023 in the Baldwyn Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home with Bro. Kelly Carmichael officiating. Visitation will be 11-12 Tuesday in the Baldwyn Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home.
Bleu is survived by his parents, John Eric & Hannah Clark Johnston of Baldwyn; his big brother, Drake Johnston of Baldwyn; his grandparents, Drew & Heather Clark of Canton, MS and Tracie & James Tarver of McComb, MS; his great-grandparents, Dr. Elmo & Beverly Gabbert of Meadville, MS and Doris Davis of Guntown; his uncles and aunts, Wiley & Ashley Johnston of McComb, MS, Ryan & Michelle Johnston of Conway, AR, Chase Jordan of McComb, Andrew Clark of Canton, MS and Matthew Clark of Oxford, MS and a host of the best cousins, great-aunts and great-uncles.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jeffery Ray Johnston and his great-grandparents, Lola & Curtis Johnston, Tommy & Lisa Gatlin, Billy Davis and James Clark.
His uncles will serve as honorary pallbearers.
