Loretta Jane Moore

Loretta Jane Moore (78) passed away Thursday, September 4, 2025 at Longwood Nursing Center in Booneville. She was a member of Little Brown Freewill Baptist Church in New Site. She enjoyed camping, fishing, gardening, tending to her flowers, humming birds and spending time with her family.

Services are 2 pm Saturday, September 6, 2025 in the Booneville Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Short and Bro. Jerry Hooper officiating. Burial will follow in the Little Brown Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Friday, September 5, 2025 in the Booneville Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home.

Loretta is survived by her husband of 60 years, Jerry Wayne Moore of Booneville; her son, Jay Moore of New Site; her daughters, Sara Johnson (Neal) of Booneville and Loretta Pruitt (Darren) of Baldwyn and her grandsons, Jody Lee Thompson, Jr. and Eric Wayne Thompson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George Bryan & Lona Denson; her sisters, Gloria Wiggington, Effie Rowena Clark, Virginia Jones and Grace Lonetta Johnson and her brothers, Thomas Edison Denson and Charlie Denson.

Pallbearers are Eric Thompson, Darren Pruitt, Neal Johnson, Russell Moore, Ronell Moore and Sammy Wigginton.
