Lisa Wilson Hughes

Lisa Wilson Hughes (57) passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at her home in Booneville. She was a member of Canaan Assembly of God. She enjoyed reading her Bible, going to church, shopping and trips to the mountains. She was a prayer warrior and prayed heavily for others. Her biggest passion in her life was her family, especially her grandchildren.

Services are 2 pm Saturday, May 11, 2024 at Canaan Assembly of God with Bro. David Krech and Bro. Victor Hoedemaker officiating. Burial will follow in the Piney Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 12-2 pm Saturday at Canaan Assembly of God.

Lisa is survived by her husband of 40 years, Larry D. Hughes of Booneville; her sons, Jonathan Hughes (Jessica) of Booneville and Josh Hughes (Emilee) of Booneville; her mother, Patsy Reid Wilson of Booneville; her brother, Nathan Wilson (Melanie) of Booneville; her sister, Cathy Whisenant (Ronnie) of Booneville; her spiritual mother, Lois Hare of Booneville and her beloved grandchildren, Dawson, Bryson, Ethan, Zane and Axton Hughes.

She was preceded in death by her father, Noel Wilson; her brother, Noel Wilson, Jr.; her grandparents, John & Ona Wilson and Clayborn & Mary Reid and her in-laws, Thomas Earl & Daisy Miles.

Pallbearers are Jonathan Hughes, Josh Hughes, Derick Whisenant, Jacob Wiginton, Jeremy Wiginton and Cody Edge.
