Linda Kay Elrod Atkinson (69) passed away Saturday, January 4, 2025 at the Meadows in Fulton. She enjoyed cooking, bird watching, reading, dancing and spending time with her family.
Services are 1 pm Wednesday, January 8, 2025 in the Baldwyn Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home with Will Rambo officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery in Red Bay, AL. Visitation will be 11-1 Wednesday in the Baldwyn Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home.
Linda is survived by her husband of 14 years, Jesus "Jesse" Atkinson of Pratts; her sons, Charles "Chuck" Scott (Amanda) of Tupelo and Steven Floyd (Toni) of Guntown; her daughters, Kim Harper (Scotty) of Tupelo and Crystal Michaels (Jerry) of Guntown; her sisters, Judy Criddle of Belmont and Sheila Elrod (Dorce Ray) of Booneville; her beloved grandchildren, Kelsie Porter, Malarie Scott, Addie Harper, Tyler Michaels, Ryan Michaels, Summer Scott, Brayden Robertson, Alexandria Scott, Caleb Scott, Kayla Floyd and Christopher Floyd and 16 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Wayman Elrod; her mother, Grace Fortner and her brothers, David Elrod and Tim Elrod.
Pallbearers are Chuck Scott, Steven Floyd, Jerry Michaels, Scotty Harper, Tyler Michaels and Christopher Floyd.
Honorary pallbearers are Ryan Michaels, Caleb Scott and Brayden Robertson.
