Lex Crowson Obituary

Lex Crowson (75) was born on February 12, 1950 and passed on Tuesday, January 6, 2026. He was a lifelong resident of Prentiss County, where he graduated from New Site High School in 1969, followed by attending Northeast Mississippi Junior College until he was drafted into the Army to serve in the Vietnam War.

Lex spent his professional career in sales and management, which brought him great joy, as he loved meeting people throughout the Northeast Mississippi area.

Lex became a follower of Christ and was baptized at the Booneville Church of Christ on September 12, 1978, after studying with Brother Lee Cole and Brother Milton Floyd.

Lex met the love of his life, Regenia Cartwright, in 1970, and over their 54 years of marriage, they enjoyed raising their three children, along with a host of nieces and nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Grandchildren include Carissa Lewellen Lewis (Nick), Alex Crowson, Ava Zepeda, and Noah Livingston. Great-grandchildren include Blakely, Loxlee, and Presley.
