Larry Dean Hutcheson (74) passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He was a member of Euclatubba Baptist Church where he served as a Sunday School Teacher and loved to sing and play his guitar at church. Larry also had a passion for metal detecting, fishing, giving guitar lessons, playing at different festivals & singings and talking with his friends. He also gave tours at Brices Crossroads National Battlefield and he volunteered at the Civil War Museum in Baldwyn.
Services are 1 pm Friday, June 27, 2025 in the Baldwyn Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home with Bro. Scott Witcher officiating. Burial will follow in the Euclatubba Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Thursday, June 26, 2025 in the Baldwyn Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home.
Larry Dean is survived by his wife of 54 years, Beneta Bryan Hutcheson; his son, Robert Brian Hutcheson; his sisters, Peggy Williams (Tom) and Pat Miller; his nieces, Carolyn Rogers, Cathy Russell, Wanda Booker and Kelly Lindsey; his nephews, Ted Williams and Gary Miller and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Rob & Alice Hutcheson; his brother-in-law, Johnny Miller and his special friend, Bro. Jimmy Russell.
Pallbearers are Roger Hendrix, John Thompson, Leon McMillan, Ricky Ferguson, Jimmy Crabb and David Hall.
