Larry Dale Yates

Larry Dale Yates (72) passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo. He enjoyed boating, fishing, hunting, going to truck shows and spending time with family. He retired from repairing ships at Pearl Harbor.

Services are 4 pm Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at the Booneville Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home with Bro. Neil Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Jumpertown Cemetery. Visitation will be 3 pm to 4 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.

Larry is survived by his sons, Brenton Yates (Sarah) of Seattle WA and Roddy Yates (Julia) of Seattle, WA; his daughter, Kortney Yates of Booneville; his stepdaughter, Melissa Burkhart (Scott) of London KY; his grandchildren Jerrol, Kalina and Lyric Yates and Jake Burkhart.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Audie and Hazel Yates and his brothers, Melvin and Marty Yates.

The family is requesting that all visitors wear face coverings.
