Lanny Horn

Lanny Horn (77) passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and attended East Booneville Baptist Church. He was apart of the IBEW for 46 years. He enjoyed farming, tending to his cattle, cutting hay, fishing, hunting, camping and spending time with his family. He also enjoyed cheering on his St. Louis Cardinals and Mississippi State Bulldogs.

Services are 2 pm Sunday, October 12, 2025 in the Booneville Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Howell and Bro. Roger Wood officiating. Burial will follow in the Hinkle Cemetery. Visitation will be 12-2 pm Sunday in the Booneville Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home.

Lanny is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Barbara Horn of Rienzi; his sons, Greg Horn (Mary) of Booneville and Skylar Horn (Morgan) of Rienzi; his daughter, Kyndal Bagley of Rienzi; his brothers, Gaither Horn of Rienzi and Jerry Horn (Melissa) of Booneville; his sister, Carolyn Hall of CA; his special daughter, Laura Clark; his grandchildren, Kaylee Horn, Abby Horn, Dawson Horn, Harlee Brandon (Myles), Bella Lytal and Kat Lytal; his great grandchildren, Paisley & Lane and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Doc & Hazel Horn; his brother, Don Horn; his sisters, Brenda Palaski, Sandra Pinkoski, Debbie Hutchens, Reba McGrath and Sherry Horn and his step-daughter, Georgana Jones.

Pallbearers are Dawson Horn, Jimmy Grimes, Brandon Moore, Kirkland Moore, Bronson Fugitt and Dylan Horn.
