Kathryn Dianne Knight Day

Kathryn Dianne Knight Day (67) passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. She was a veteran of the United States Air Force. She loved spending time with her family and loved ones, sewing, reading and cooking.

Memorial services are 4 pm Sunday, July 21, 2024 in the Booneville Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home with Bro. David Knight officiating. Burial will be in Jumpertown Cemetery. Visitation will be 3-4 pm Sunday, July 21, 2024 in the Booneville Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home.

Kathryn is survived by her husband of 44 years, Richard Day of Booneville; her daughters, Vanessa Day of Alabaster, AL and Christi Birdwell of Booneville; her brothers, John Knight (Linda) of Caledonia, Billy Knight of Joshua, TX, Lloyd Knight (Louise) of Booneville, Milton Knight (Brenda) of Caledonia, Harold Knight (Sandra) of Booneville and Keith Knight (Judy) of Caledonia; her sisters, Evelyn Hamby Moore of Booneville, Shirley Yearby (Sydney) of Steens, Sarah Watts (Bobby) of Booneville and Martha Miller (Ray) of Beulaville, NC; her grandchildren, Ethan Dunkin (Makaela) of Muscle Shoals, AL and Nathan Day of Alabaster, AL; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny Knight and Lucille Knight Johnson; and her brothers, Charles Knight and Robert Knight.
