Judy Diane Bishop

Judy Diane Bishop (66) passed from this world March 31, 2024, Easter Sunday, at Tishomingo Manor in Iuka, MS. She was born April 30, 1957, to the late L.B. and Vernice Tennyson Bishop. She was a graduate of Booneville High School and of Mississippi State University. She was a very talented artist. She retired from the Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal Newspaper in Tupelo after 30 years of service.

A visitation to remember her life will be 11 am - 12 pm Friday, April 5, 2024 in the Booneville Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home. Burial will take place in the Mt. Nebo Cemetery.

Judy is survived by her nephew, Kelly Gilton of Greenwood, MS; her brother-in-law, Ben Gilton of Greenwood, MS; her aunt, Novalee Tennyson Grimes of Booneville, MS and a host of cousins and friends.

In addition to her parents, Judy was also preceded in death by her siblings, an infant brother and her sister, Kathy Bishop Gilton.
