John Gregory Gable

John Gregory Gable (55) passed away Sunday, March 7, 2021 at his home in Burnsville. He enjoyed fishing, playing his guitar, shooting guns, coaching sports, riding in his jeep with the top off and being with his friends and family. He loved his cats and also loved to tell ghost stories to his grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 2 pm Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Berea Church of Christ in Burnsville with Chad Bowen officiating.

John is survived by his wife of 25 years, Dawn Gable of Burnsville; his son, Will Brockenshire of Memphis; his daughter, Tonya Castillo of Burnsville; his sister, Tammy Holley (Dale) of Pratts; his mother, Peggy Bowen (Chad) of Burnsville; his grandmother, Lois Hutcheson of Wheeler and his grandchildren, Melony Brockenshire, Aubrey Brockenshire, Prestyn Castillo and Goose Brockenshire.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Julius Gable;  his grandfather, Isaac Julius Gable and his uncles, Wayne and Ralph Hutcheson.
