Jimmy Harold Young, Jr. (50) passed away Friday, June 12, 2026 at Vanderbilt University Hospital in Nashville, TN. He attended First United Pentecostal Church in Booneville. He enjoyed working on appliances, fishing and spending time with family, especially his grandchildren. His greatest passion in life was sharing his testimony, and having the opportunity to serve and help others.
Jimmy is survived by his wife, Melinda Young; his sons, Mason Monge (Bonnie) of Booneville and Quentin Rutledge of Marietta; his daughters, Madeline McClain (Tyler) of Marietta, Novia Rutledge of Marietta and Angel Foster of Marietta; his mother, Ann Young of Aberdeen; his sisters, LeeAnn Blake (Nathan) of Wren and Lisa Powell of Batesville; his grandchildren, Aaron Monge and Delilah Monge of Booneville; his nephews, Chris Cook of Booneville, CJ Powell of Batesville, Logan Powell of Batesville, Luke Cook of Wren, Ramsey Blake of Wren and Corben Blake of Wren; his nieces, Megan Pearson of Batesville, Mercy Cook of Wren and Emma Blake of Wren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Harold Young, Sr.; and his brother, Thomas Young.
