Jerry Russell Lindley

Jerry Russell Lindley (66) passed away Thursday, June 2, 2022 at UAB Hospital in Birmingham, AL. He was a member of Midway Freewill Baptist Church and he was a Mason. He enjoyed fishing, coon hunting and watching Hallmark and Gunsmoke. He loved his family, and being at home and cooking. He was also a truck driver.

Services are 2:30 pm Sunday, June 5, 2022 in the Baldwyn Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home with Bro. Acie Barber, Bro. Danny Short and Bro. Dempsey Rowland officiating. Burial will follow in the Kirkville Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, June 4, 2022 from 4-8 pm in the Baldwyn Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home.

Jerry is survived by his wife of 47 years, Mary Ann Lindley; his son Jerry Matthew Lindley (Lisa) of Kirkville; his daughter, Brandy Marie Barkley (Matt) of Blackland; his brother, Hollis Lindley (Earnestine) of Tupelo; his sisters, Linda Gann of Booneville, Sherry Ann Lewis of Booneville, Rhonda White (Ronnie) of Booneville, Donna Goddard of Saltillo, Gina Ray of Baldwyn, Evelyn Lindley (Therman) of Booneville, Effie Ryan (Curtis) of Saltillo, Shirley Jones of Booneville and Madine White of Booneville; his grandchildren, Anna Hester, Jeret Foy (Sara), Channing Barkley, Logan Barkley, Kylee Lindley, Cody Lindley, Reese Lindley, Luke Hubbard and AnnaLeigh Hubbard and his great-grandchildren, Bentley Sellars, Sadie Waycaster and Drake Foy.

He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Lindley; his mother, Anna Lou Pounds; his parents, V.E. and Emma Marie Lindley; his sister, Wanda Harris and his brothers, Doug Lindley and Bobby Lindley.

Pallbearers are Tony Floyd, Kenneth Michael, Terry Michael, Junior Smith, Dale Ross, Ronnie White, Gary Ryan and Keith Ryan.

Honorary Pallbearers are his grandsons and great-grandsons.
