Jane Horton Rayburn (87) of Guntown, MS joined her Lord and Savior on November 23, 2022 at the Meadows in Fulton after a long illness.
While residing in Guntown, she was affectionately known as "Mamaw Jane" to local children and the community. She worked as a bookkeeper most of her life and attended some college courses. Her hobbies included playing the piano, singing, flower gardening and reading. A delight was teaching the piano to many children of the community and she did so at her home.
As an avid member of Victory Baptist Church (with prior membership at Guntown Baptist Church), she enthusiastically played the piano, organ and taught Sunday School lessons. A fine example of serving wherever help was needed.
Surviving family and friends include her son, Gary Roberts of Iuka; her daughter, "Sissy" (Joe) Lukas of Guntown; her son, David Roberts of Guntown; her daughter, Judy Tollison (Gary L.) of Guntown; her daughter-in-law, Connie Roberts of Baldwyn; her son, Jeff Rayburn of Tupelo; her grandchildren, Crystal (Greg) George, Cory (Mallory) Roberts, Brandon Tollison, Brittney (Matt) Robinson, Matthew Lukas, Dusty Roberts, Jennifer Roberts, Joel Roberts, Josh Rayburn and Andrea Rayburn; her great-grandchildren, Carlie George, Parker George, Clair George, Case Roberts, Camp Roberts, Braxton Tollison and Ella Robinson; a host of nieces and nephews; two special children, Blake and Courtney Hutcheson; her sister-in-law, Sharon Roberts and her special friends, Scarlett Wimoth and Connie Robinson.
