James W. "Jim" White

James W. "Jim" White (85) passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at Landmark Nursing Facility in Booneville. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church. He enjoyed drag racing, restoring old cars and taking his horses on trail rides.

Services are 2 pm Friday, July 19, 2024 in the Booneville Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home with Dr. Chuck Hampton and Bro. Marty Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 11:30 - 2 pm Friday in the Booneville Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home.

Jim is survived by his wife of 63 years, Nellie Denson White; his son, Jeff White (Wendy); his granddaughters, Allison White and Jonie White; his great-grandchildren, Hayes and Hattie Harris and his cousin, Tommy Taylor.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clifford and Cleo Taylor; his mother, Martha Ann Taylor; his father, James W. White, Sr. and his sister, Bonnie Work.

Pallbearers are Bryson Harris, Zack Gargus, James Davis, Roger Dale Davis and James Olive.
