James Steven Jackson

James Steven Jackson (70) passed away Saturday, January 31, 2026 at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth. He was born August 19, 1955 to the late James (Bill) and Geraldine (Jerri) Jackson. He retired in 2010 as a Computer Analyst with BP Amoco Corporation. After retirement he enjoyed spending an enormous amount of time in his yard and gardening projects. He was the second born of five children and his siblings refer to him as Steve.

A celebration of his life will be 1:30 PM Sunday, February 8, 2026 in the Booneville Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home with Bro. Trey Lambert officiating. Internment will be in the Prentiss Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 12-1:30 Sunday in the Booneville Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home.

He is survived by three sisters, Karen Jackson Goode of Madison, Kathy Jackson Mosier of Starkville, and Jennifer Sparks (Greg) of Booneville; his brother, Danny Jackson of Madison; his nephew, Tyler Sparks (Kelley) of Booneville; his two nieces, Colette Fort (Matthew) of Birmingham and Emily Volking (Kurt) of Booneville and a host of great nieces and great nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, James Mosier.
