James Lawrence "Larry" Lauderdale I Obituary

James Lawrence "Larry" Lauderdale I passed away Sunday, August 31, 2025. He was a member of Booneville Church of Christ and Sons of Confederate Veterans. He was a plumber for 42 years. He loved taking care of his dog, Little Bit. He also enjoyed fishing, gardening, hunting, listening to bluegrass music, cooking over a campfire and working with his tractor. He was a nature and history enthusiast. Larry was a jokester with a giving spirit who loved doing for others. He loved spending time with his friends and family.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at 12 pm in the Booneville Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home with Bro. Rick Jones and Bro. Ken Forrest officiating. Visitation will be 10-12 Saturday, September 20, 2025 in the Booneville Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home.

Larry is survived by his son, Jim Lauderdale (Danielle) of Tacoma, WA; his daughter, Lauren Brumley (Kevin) of Rienzi; his sisters, Martha Huntley of Greenville and Esther Lauderdale of Booneville; his grandchildren, Weston Lauderdale, Rowan Lauderdale, Camden Hoxit, Ella Brumley, Rory-Klaire Brumley, James Brumley and Austin Brumley and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Price & Jewel Sparks Lauderdale; his brothers, Leon & Bobby Lauderdale and his sisters, Eugenia Messick, Dell Thomason & Faye Spencer.
