James Hayden "Big Paw" Woodruff

James Hayden "Big Paw" Woodruff (87) passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Booneville. He was a member of Snowdown Church of Christ and he served in the National Guard. He was the owner of Woodland Raceway and Woodruff Tires. He retired as a Security Guard from Baptist Memorial Hospital in Booneville. He enjoyed fishing, traveling, racing watching basketball and spending time with his family.

Services are 2 pm Sunday, May 18, 2025 at Snowdown Church of Christ with Bro. Jesse Hisaw and Bro. Jackie Baswell officiating. Burial will follow in the Snowdown Church of Christ Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-9 pm Saturday, May 17, 2025 at Snowdown Church of Christ.

Hayden is survived by his daughter, Anita Bullock (Jacky); his grandchildren, Aneshia Davis (Greg), Ben Bullock (Tabatha), Ashley Johnson (Marcus) and Nicki Woodruff (Brock); his great grandchildren, Austin (Breanna), Mamie (Bryson), Jade, Levi (Marlee), Daniel, Kameron (Elizabeth), Liberty, Lexi, Carlee and Delancy; his great great grandchild, Mia Caroline Grimes; his special niece, Freida Lentz (Obry); his special friends, Jesse & Dana Hisaw and Jackie & Kay Baswell and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Anita Earlene Woodruff; his son, Jimmy Woodruff; his parents, Blunt & Johnnie Woodruff; his brothers & sisters, WJ, Helen, Weatha and Mildred; his in-laws, Charlie & Mamie Moss; his great great grandchild, Delilah Gwyn Bullock and several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

Pallbearers are Greg Davis, Marcus Johnson, Austin Davis, Levi Johnson, Daniel Bullock, Brock Grisham, Bryson Grimes, David Crowe and Ben Bullock.
