James H. "Cricket" Jackson, Jr. (63) passed away Friday, March 15, 2024 at UAB. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and he was a mason. He was a truck driver and was currently employed with Wiley Sanders Trucking out of Troy, AL. He had a passion for bowling.
Services are 2 pm Saturday, April 6, 2024 in the Baldwyn Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home. Visitation will be 1-2 pm Saturday.
Cricket is survived by his wife of 33 years, Cindy Jackson of Nettleton; his son, Robert "BJ" Webster (Jessica) of Summerville, SC; his daughter, Angie Taylor of Saltillo; his son-in-law, Ian McVey of Saltillo; his sisters, Tina Tillery of Dothan, AL and Sandra Besse (Mike) of Webb, AL; his grandchildren, Katie McVey, Liam Gallo, Noah Gallo and Micah Gallo; his navy brother, Skip Sonargang (Sarah) of Connecticut and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hazel & James Jackson, Sr. and his daughter, Karen McVey.
