James David Latch

James David Latch (75) passed away Saturday, September 2, 2023, at his home in Hinkle, MS. He served
in the Air Force from 1965-1968 as a Fire Protection Specialist where he achieved the rank of Sergeant.
Upon leaving the Air Force, David worked for Brown and Root Construction as a surveyor. In the late 70s
to early 80s David was a licensed real estate agent. In 1985 David began his career as a windshield repair
tech and trainer. As a windshield repair tech and trainer, he traveled to many different cities and areas
and met some of his best friends. His hobbies included motorcycles, cars, boats, guns, fishing and
boxing. He loved to spend time with his family and friends.
There will be a celebration of life service at 1 pm on Saturday, September 16, 2023, at Way of Life
Worship Center in Tishomingo, MS.
He is survived by his children, Mike Latch (Lynne), Kelly Latch, Michelle Latch, Angela Sheppard (Jon); his
9 grandchildren, Tres, Jayden, Kaley, Hanna, Brice, Isaac, Jacob, Luci, and Eli; and his sister Jamie
Baumgardner (Anthony).
He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Mae Latch, and brother Sam Latch.
