James D. Bailey (85) passed away Sunday, November 16, 2025 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He was of Church of Christ faith. He was known as the "vinyl siding man." He enjoyed growing his famous greenhouse tomatoes, working with & restoring Ford tractors and spending time with his family. He was always a hard working man.
Services are 2 pm Tuesday, November 18, 2025 in the Baldwyn Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home with Bro. Haskel Sparks officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery. Visitation will be 12-2 pm Tuesday in the Baldwyn Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home.
James is survived by his son, Lonnie Bailey (Tammy); his daughter, Lisa Carlton; his grandchildren, Mallory Lewis (Seth), Josh Bailey (Jesse), Ripley Mize and Lindsey Jeter (Rylee) and his great grandchildren, Sadie, Cadence, Macie, Mason, Benson, Brenna, John, Ivy, Kason and Kyleigh.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Bailey; his father, Lunceford Bailey; his mother, Lillian Davis; his sister, Lena Mae Denson and his grandson, Bronson Pharr.
Pallbearers are Steve Taylor, Randy Taylor, Seth Lewis, Josh Bailey, Lynn Lambert and Kason Bailey.
His great grandsons will serve as his pallbearers.
